This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Many students are hesitant and easily confused when learning tense in the english language due to the fact that many other languages only have one to three tenses. There are three different tense/times in English (past, present & future) and within these three tenses are four specific aspects (simple, continuous, perfect & perfect continuous) therefore there are twelve in all. Through careful explanation and fun games and activities the teaching of past tense can be taught and learnt with confidence. It is therefore important for the teacher to have a good understanding of tense in order to teach effectively and with as little confusion as possible.
