I have personally gained from this course, although I am english native speaker, what sounds correct and is correct as far as we are taught is not necessary the correct grammatical form to teach others.
I have learnt that organization and preparation are very important to allow the teacher to gain more confidence, respect and rapport with the students.
Back ground on the culture and students you are teaching help predicting the problems that may occur. Class may vary from age, abilities and skills and being able to adapt and manage the lesson to suit comes down to organization.
