This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
The ‘most’ key point I will focus on from this course is to always have too much material (which I have comprehensively planned) when I go to teach a class.
I have learnt that I have much, much, more to learn with respect to my TEFL and teaching development.
I have become far more aware of many of the small intricacies that apply to the english language – I’ve learnt things that I might have learnt some time of previously, but for which I really should have, in my perspective, learnt more comprehensively.
That I’m going to have to be as careful as I can with my own english when I write because I know I am very much not perfect with these things either.
That in conclusion of this course, it’s going to be very helpful for me to create a plan to go back and do the course on my own again at least 2 or 3 more times to get a comprehensive base across the knowledge I have sketchily picked up the first time around and then, obviously, to make sure I execute the plan.
