This course has introduced me to the compositions of multi- and monolingual classrooms, and how they –subsequently—affect student motivation. Additionally, the grammar refresher has been helpful, as have the specific work activities geared toward specific teaching points, and the utilization of the ESA model. I plan to use what I have learned to streamline my teaching processes. In fact, I am already using what I have learned. Remembering to use the engagement phase to review material has been a life-saver, as has remembering to refrain from interrupting students during study phases.
