Taking this course has opened my eyes to the more technical aspect of
teaching. I started my ESL career as a scholarship student in another
country, so I had to learn as I went. That experience made me learn very
quickly, but I was missing the fine elements of teaching that this course
provided. Even now, as I teach the same students from before I took this
class, I can tell that I am a more effective teacher and more aware of what
I am doing in class. I know that this awareness will continue and I am
satisfied with the results of taking this online course. It has been very
helpful.
