I gained a lot from this course. I gained more knowledge and skills about english teaching, how it is organized and what things have to be kept in mind. I learned about different students groups and how teacher should work with them. This course allowed me to review the main points of english grammar and learn more in detail about certain things. Preparing lesson plans for each unit forced to make a little research on activities and teaching methods for each topic. This gave me different understanding on how to prepare for classes and how to make them effective, interesting and fun at the same time which I believe is extremely important. I’m planning to continue to teach as I’ve been teaching a little before. But the course allowed me to see what mistakes I’ve made and how I can change my teaching. I will put in practice activities and methods that were discussed in the course and try to avoid the mistakes that most teachers do when teaching. I will also look at the students differently and try to be more understanding about what is hard and difficult for them and help them. I believe after this course I will make my classes more varied, more effective and more fun for the students and me.
