I have always regarded myself as having an excellent grasp and ability in my native english language, being able to effectively communicate whether in writing or speaking. This course, however, has reminded me, in no uncertain terms, of the complexity and depth of my language, and further opened my eyes to the extent of usage, and reliance worldwide. The well structured and comprehensive units have provided a valuable insight and approach which, when I begin teaching, believe will not only greatly benefit my students, but also increase my own knowledge and awareness.
How do I plan to put into action what I have learned? I have maintained a good record of my endeavours and material gathered and I intend to closely follow the guidelines, advice and direction acquired. I firmly believe I can capitalize and build on what I have learned and look forward to putting it into practice.
