I have learned how to teach english. What I mean is that I have learned the difference between being a native speaker, even one with the working knowledge of grammar and sentence structure, but I feel that I've learned the teaching side. I have learned the best way to communicate what I know in a simple and easy fashion to learners of all ages and levels.
I am already teaching, but I plan to put many of the tips and tricks that I learned from this course into action in my classes. I have already begun preparing more in-depth lesson plans as a result of this course, and I am using the classroom management techniques I learned here as well. This is truly an applicable lesson.
