I believe I have gained a greater understanding of the ESA system, why it is used and why it is so successful. I also gained more confidence and I believe I am able to create (successful) lesson plans for any level of students.
While I was doing the online course I had the chance to observe classes, talk to other teachers and even teach a few of my own classes. But the final task, to teach 8 groups of students, will start on Wednesday this week. And I actually feel like I am ready for it. I am planning to use the lesson plan from task 1 for my first classes, to get to know students and to create a nice atmosphere for learning in the future. I am also planning to use a lot of the techniques, activities and games I picked up along the way and apply them to my all of my classes. And since the school uses a very similar teaching style, I feel like I am at home and believe it’ll be very successful. Really looking forward to my first semester.
