Cost TESOL Cert

It's amazing how much this course refreshes the grammar that I had forgotten. It's one of those things that you learn once and sort put away in a box in your mind. It was amazing how much dust that box had collected! Since, I wasn't a linguistics major, I never really thought about grammar and sentence structure. I remember the drills we had in my German classes, but this seemed like I was starting all over again to re-learn english! I felt much more comfortable reading and learning about the classroom structure and tools and techniques to use in the classroom. I guess as a psychology major, I like to look at how school's or online programs approach the classroom structure and how to communicate and influence the students. I think this course did an overall good job at targeting the needs of the classroom, student and teacher. I do not have any plans set in stone at this point, but ideally, I would like to either join the Peace Corps., or travel abroad to teach. I was thinking about moving to Turkey (since I have family there) to teach and use that as a starting point for my teaching career. I think this certificate will be a great deal of help in finding jobs abroad (or at home) and will give me an opportunity to learn about different cultures, which I enjoy very much.
