I have gained a great deal more from the course than I originally thought I would. I have learned the basics of teaching as well as the details of how to deal with a variety student/course/classroom situations, problems, and difficulties. I have learned how to prepare for and teach a class by using the ESA method. I have been given valuable tools to use in the classroom and many activity and exercise ideas, as well as ways to adapt everyday games, items, or resources to be suitable for the EFL course setting. All of this information will be of great importance to me and my future plans to teach english as a foreign language once my family moves back to Italy in the spring of 2012.
