This course has taught me many things. I've been reassured and had my confidence boosted. I came in with a fluency in the language and with a pretty general (high school level) understanding of grammar. However I now understand significantly better how my language is formed and how to teach it. I also came in with experience tutoring but with no real understanding on how to actually teach a class. While taking this course I was able to both understand the structure and also see where to use it, but I was also able to better understand all of the language courses I've taken over the years and draw on 5 years in foreign language classes. I now feel much more prepared, and therefore confident, to enter into a classroom and start to teach.
