When I think about the difference between authentic and non-authentic materials, I can't help but wonder what portion of the lesson with beginner English learners has to be non-authentic workbooks and worksheets and what part authentic material perhaps gleaned from their own business? It would be helpful to have a handle on how to introduce grammar and to give adult learners the realistic situations that they may encounter in their jobs...
