In this module I have learned about authentic and created materials. I also have also learned about the use of course books and how they can be positive for learning by teaching a steady syllabus but how they also have drawbacks as they aren't very varied and students can get bored quite quickly.From this unit, I have got a lot of ideas about teaching aids. Before that, I did not know how to use the teaching aids correctly in my class. Now, I have understood why they are important to a class. And I can also choose the right teaching materials for a good lesson. This unit works very well.Unit 8 teaches us to be very proactive with our students and I found it quite interesting on how to practice these techniques, particularly, accuracy and fluency where they are both equally important.
