Justine took the 120-hour online course without tutor support from ITTT. I learned a lot from this unit. During my years at school, parts of speech were glossed over very quickly. In order to teach English, knowing the parts of speech is definitely needed. If the teacher does not know the subject in full, students will have trouble trusting what they are being taught.This unit was helpful in learning about the different techniques for teaching and how to determine which ones you should use as a teacher based on your own teaching strengths and your students. It also provided many helpful ideas on activities to implement in different stages of your lesson plan.I enjoyed this unit very much. I have worked in both finance and insurance so the idea of teaching business English appeals very much. As well as teaching young children, as their enthusiasm and energy are infectious. And adorable. I will attempt to do the business English course after this one.
