Geoff has been in China for some time and decided to take the course to take advantage of his business background in China. He found the course to be challenging but rewarding with a good combination of video tutorials and online reading.

I found this unit quite challenging. The phonetic script is not usually required to teach when teaching English to foreign students. I believe certain aspects of it could be useful to teach but it cannot substitute other methods of teaching phonics. It is certainly something for me to think about.This unit was really hard for me. Althou it was really intresting about all those teaching methods i could use when im teaching children.
The most problem i had is with reading everything and answering the question! Im looking forword doing those role-plays when im teaching somewhere on the Globe.In UNIT 1 were explained the main qualities of the good teacher and the good learner, the roles of them as well as their responsibilities.
I have learned that different students (age, knowledge, experience) have completely different needs and we as teachers have to be aware and prepared for that.
