this unit has developed my knowledge and understanding of the importance and diversity of reading and listening. by making me more consciously aware of the different ways we read and the importance of variety/ knowing the student in order to select reading that they will be interested in and engage with.This section taught the different techniques of teaching and correcting. As someone who has never taught before, I took a lot away from this section. The most important part of is the correcting section. Students may be sensitive when being corrected, so giving feedback in a positive manner is important.
