In this instalment of Chantelle’s TEFL course video diary she talks about the sixth unit. Unit 6 covers the past tenses; past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. As with Unit 4, this unit describes the structure and common usages of the tenses as well pointing out common mistakes and providing teaching ideas that can be used in the classroom. Although not her favourite unit, Chantelle thought it was well laid out with good test questions and support.

This lesson was very informative in teaching what type of tools you have in the classroom to help benefit yourself and the students. I believe using tools, and specialized equipment,will help keep the classroom engaged and will also help me be able to better gauge the knowledge level of students.This unit has been very helpful because it gives me the chance to study the international phonetic,which i didn't study in school and also teaches me the different ways to teach my students the sign and syllable of international easily and at the time letting them to speak good and fluent english.In this unit i have learned more about grammar as Modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice, In this unit we will finish our look at English grammar. To cover the whole grammatical system you cover the vast majority of grammatical issues that you will probably face as an English teacher of foreign.
