In this unit I discovered the the difference between receptive skills and productive skills. I now know the importance of each and every skill. Unit 12 taught me how to get the children encouraged to learn new skills. I also learn how to use the ESA method in the productive skills. The unit short, succinct and easy. In this unit, we deal with the potential problem that a teacher may come across while conducting his/her lessons. The unit also draws attention to the use of native language in the class which students are likely to do and which should be avoided. It was important for me to read the writing, even in class and not only as homework is important. I find the information in this unit useful. I know that it is not always easy to put that into practice but it is important to have some knowledge as to what is useful and what is not.
