Aloud vs Allowed - English Grammar - Teaching Tips

In this video Linda breaks down the difference between ?aloud? and ?allowed?.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit focused on how to make a class plan. I really enjoyed the prompts given during this unit, it is a very helpful way to orginize your lesson plan and as well so you may keep a record of what you have already taught. I also enjoyed hearing that it is ok for your lesson plan to change. This is a very important unit as it teaches how to conduct a class (at the start of the semester). It helps teachers to form a good first impression and set the tone for the rest of the semester and also helps to manage students' expectations which will ensure that students remain motivated.I have learnt how Teachers have different roles and how they would need to change in to each when needed. How important it is to be a good Teacher. A Teacher must love to teach as a good student must have desire to learn. The language levels and difference between each.
