In my current position I team teach with a Japanese Teacher of English (JTE) and I create lesson plans for all my classes since I take the lead. Currently for my lesson plans I write down many of the things which were highlighted in this unit with the exception of potential difficulties for students/teacher as well as personal aims. I think self evaluating for each class would be a good habit in the future. Since right now I make different lessons for each year level but do the same lesson for all the classes in that year level even though they are at different language levels and comfort speaking English. In the future it would be more helpful for me to keep track of how the classes responded to the lesson and what their needs are. I only see the classes once a month and soon they are changing up the homeroom classes so I will have a fresh chance at doing this when the new school year starts in April.
