This unit talks about classifying students in English language levels according to their language abilities by submitting them to different types of tests. It also presents other international tests. I learned from this unit that each test has features different from the other which can be applied on learners to specify their English background. In my opinion, learners should be provided with relaxing atmosphere and be prepared psychologically before submitting any type of test because learners may have test anxiety which creates tension and makes them feel nervous leading them to not doing the test well. As a result, the teacher will not be able to see what the student is capable of in the English language.
