Unit 12 covered teaching productive skills, speaking and writing, both is used for communication. I learned the difference between accuracy and fluency activities which are equal important, about different speaking activities; controlled and guided activities, how to encourage students to speak, etc.
For me as a native German speaker layout and punctuation was a very interesting part. Punctuation in the English language is so different to the German ones, which is a big challenge for me. Unfortunately this topic is not one of the main topics in this course, but so far I am really enjoying this course.
