Unit 20 is about troubleshooting common problem situations that teachers can encounter in the classroom and suggests ways of dealing with these problems. It also looks at how to start a new course effectively and how to deal with large classes, reluctant students and multi level classes. I've learnt how to establish a rapport with my class by finding out about my students' interest, their needs and aspirations with the English language and their levels by using activities during my first lesson with them. Solutions to addressing reluctant students and difficulties when listening to texts were especially informative.
