This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
I have learned how to distinguish between the different past tenses in the English language. I have learned what to look for, how to construct the different tenses in a positive, negative, or question scenario. It is very much like the present forms but in the past. I did learn that are many different irregulars and it will simply take lots of memorization, and probably be one of the hardest parts of English for foreigners. Many irregulars do not have a pattern that follows so one simply has to memorize in order to correctly identify or use the past. It would be a good unit to have many repetition games, worksheets, and practice.
