Thoroughly enjoyed the ideas from this unit in relation to lesson planning, the plan you all provided ?though only a template? I have to concede that I found it very well laid out and thoroughly thought out, it was comprehensive and clear, but I feel lesson planning to this degree would actually consume quite a lot of time. Preparation time that is.
I also think the evaluation part was good, but I couldn?t imagine teachers having to complete said evaluations after each class, considering most teachers actually have a lot of classes coinciding with one another, the time needed to complete the evaluation would negate any time for preparation for classes that would follow the ones needing to be evaluated.
It would therefore perhaps be easier to do a quarter cycle evaluation of classes, or for that matter, reduce the time trying spent on the anticipation of class problems to see if it would free up more time.
