In this unit I have learned that all four basic skills in receptive skills are important and that all of them should be conducted into a lesson to create a 'integrated' skills lesson.
People read and listen for different reasons and it helps teachers to understand and identify the reasons and carefully supply appropriate reading and listening practices to suit the lesson.
Teachers should pre teach vocabulary that may be hard for the students to understand before the actual reading or listening gets done. This is something I wasn't aware of so I find the information about this unit very insightful.
Also, as with the other units, I have again looked back at the different kids of ESA lessons to answer the questions correctly. I feel that the constant revision about the kinds of ESA lessons really helps me to understand it better.
