This unit provided scenarios of problems that could arise in a classroom and ways to alleviate those problems. Some things that were suggested to help warm up a classroom of students who may not know one another yet was \"warmer\" games such as Hangman or Pictionary, or get-to-know-you games that can be fun and thus minimize any unwillingness. Some other common problems are dealing with large classes or students that are using their native language when they should be using English. In the case of large classes, things like worksheets, pair work, and choral repetition can help students be more involved. For students using their native language, it might be a good idea for a teacher to make sure the English they are using is clear enough so that students don't have to resort to their native language to understand or help each other.
