Correct pronunciation has always been one of the most problematic issues in a class. In this unit a lot of linguistic terms related to pronunciation were offered which make it easier for a teacher to understand the students` difficulties in pronunciation easier, and since you can know the source it would be easier to correct and help the student. The best and the most useful part of the lesson to y idea was the methods and techniques of teaching pronunciation, which I will surly put in practice in a class.The videos were really helpful from a class observation point of view, I have learnt many techniques from the teacher giving the lesson. Such as using his voice and miming, using gestures, also using succinct and straightforward English so the students can understand quickly. Also, the responses from the students were quite interesting in both classes, I have learnt that building a positive atmosphere in the classroom is essential, as this gives a good environment for students to participate and learn in.
