There are four different forms of the past tense - past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. Past simple is used for actions completed in a time in the past. Past continuous is used without a time expression or describes an action that occurred in the past and is likely to continue after a certain time. Past perfect describes actions that happened before another action in the past. Past perfect continuous is used in situations describing any ongoing action(s) up to a certain moment in past time.Unit 5 is about managing Classes. It talks about important elements inside the classroom conducive to learning. In general, it's about the teacher's skill of organizing and managing the class having a friendly, relaxed manner and maintaining discipline. This unit is very important for teachers and I'm very glad that I have discovered some other things I need to have to become an effective teacher. Specifically, I like the balance between teacher talking time and student talking time because I find it difficult in practice.
