This unit covered 5 different future verb tenses, future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous and 'going to' future as well as reviewing present tenses which may refer to future events, present simple and present continuous. I learned which future verb tenses have which associated uses and contexts as well as many useful teaching tips such as which verb tenses to teach together to minimize confusion between them and understand their differences.This unit covered quite a bit. It was on teaching pronunciation and phonology. The phonemic symbol chart was hard at first, but the more I practriced saying each symbol it became easier. I've learned how important it is to teach the phonemic alphabet, and the video provided a great example of how to do that. It was nice learning that by placing my hand against my throats I could tell the difference in voiced and unvoiced words. I thought this was a tough, but important lesson.
