This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit gave a summary of the four forms of present tense: simple present, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. The unit concisely explained the rules and sentence structure of each form of the present tense and even showed common mistakes made my English learners. I thought it did a good job explaining how a teacher should look at the mistake. The teacher needs to think about why the mistake was made, not simply correct it or drill it. This unit also went into useful detail on verb form usage. It did a very good job explaining, and offering examples of, when to use each form. The present continuous form can be especially difficult to explain to non-native speakers, so I found this section especially useful. Finally the unit also offered a handful of student activities that are good for getting students to use the language in a thoughtful and communicative way.
