Diving into English grammar is something that I thought would be easier. This unit took quite a bit of study, as I tried to think of why I use each of these tenses in everyday life and how I will explain them to my students. Learning the reasons why native English speakers use the different tenses in the present and then reading the examples was extremely helpful in decoding the science behind the grammar. This unit is a tool I will definitely refer back to throughout my teaching career.From this unit I have learnt about teaching materials and lesson planing. I have learnt that teaching material can be authentic and non-authentic, what are advantages and disadvantages between them and I have got a general idea how and when to use them. I have learnt how to create lesson plan - what activities to use in a different stages and how to implement materials that I have chose. Also, I have learnt where to find different materials that I can use as authentic teaching materials.
