This lesson was about the many methodologies that you can use as a teacher. While there are many methods to teaching a very effective method is ESA. The purpose of ESA is to warm up the students get them involved in the lesson. You than want the student to study what is learned. They can study in many different ways, and finally you want them to Activate what they have learned. I think this unit was very helpful they give you many different activities that you can use for each part of the ESA method.Unit IV covers four present tenses, rules regarding how the tenses are made, under what circumstances they are used, typical errors made by students, and activities which could encourage communicative use of the tenses. Grammar is an aspect of language about which learners and teachers have different opinions, but in many cases, they don?t like grammar rules and exercises. However, in this unit the grammar rules were explained in such a way that is both easy to understand and interesting to teach.
