This unit had a lot of content to it, but was very useful to know different Theories, Methods and Techniques that can be used in a class room and how different methods encourage leaning to take place. It was important to know the theories, methods and techniques because all of them need to be used at some stage whilst teaching, depending on the group level and their age. It was important to learn when corrections should be made when students make mistakes as it is a key part of leaning, but too much correction can lead to students losing interest and motivation.In this unit, the importance of reading and listening it is explained very well. I like how the students are very invested in reading and listening if the topic is to their interest and not teachers interest. Knowing your students interests ahead of time it helps to organize and prepare text and videos that will get them participating. It is very important to not overwhelm students with topics that are not as important and they just need to cover the subject, because they will not master the learning objective for the student expectation at the end of the class.
