This unit has provided me with perhaps the most useful list of resources that I can use in my classroom. Having access to these resources will make my teaching life so much easier. Having all of the uses of equipment laid out is extremely helpful as well and explains so much of how to properly use everything. I remember the first time I discovered the power of writing something on the board. It convinces the kids that they need to write it down, like a compulsion. Even though I have said something, ten or twenty times, as soon as I put it on the board then that is when they decide to pay attention. Who knew? Working in a digital time now means that I need to explore apps and resources online to better support my students.
