This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In Unit 4: Present Tenses, the English tense system is covered. This unit asserts that there are twelve basic tenses in the English language, with three different times (the past, present and future) and four aspects (simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous). The unit covers the form of these tenses and the usages, as well as common student mistakes and teaching ideas in this area. Each of the four aspects is covered in its present form, including an affirmative, negative and question example. There are also teaching ideas included at the end of each section. After this unit, I am now aware of each of the four aspects of the present form in English, and I feel comfortable with them.
