This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This Unit presented as with two sample videos: a poorly-done lesson and a well-executed lesson. The differences were striking. In the first video, teacher appeared uninterested, harsh, and intimidating. He was inpatient and unclear with students, from start to finish. He didn’t use any visual or other tools. The students were uncomfortable thorough the during of the class. In the second video, teacher was friendly and engaging form the start. He used jokes and gestures. He engaged students right away and had a consistent level of student participation through the class as a result. In the second video, it was clear that students were actually learning in class and also having a good time.
