Third Unit have explained to me how pupils acquire knowledge and examples of activities that can be used during classes. I also learned what ESA lessons are and that they consist of 3 stages: Engage [Teacher must introduce pupils to the lesson in an inexpensive way, for example by showing them pictures of animals and asking them questions about what they see.] Study [Students are focusing on language learning (grammar and spelling check is very important in this stage)] and Activate [ students should focus on free and communicative use of the language point for example during group work]. In addition, I learned that there are many types of ESA lessons to choose from, depending on the situation.
