This section is very similar to the present tenses. I learned that past simple is composed of adding 'ed' or 'd' to the base form. I learned that past continuous means adding was or were to the verb and adding 'ing'. I learned that past perfect means having a subject plus had plus the verb with the past participle. I learned that past perfect continuous means having the subject plus adding had plus been plus the verb plus 'ing'.Even though i knew lot of people use different accent in pronouncing English,i didn t know there are ways & techniques of teaching pronunciation close to the accuracy. Phonetic Symbols are the key part i learnt in this unit even though it was a bit difficult to memorise,i find it very interesting.Articulation is another area that captured my interest as it teaches how different parts of your mouth helps to make different sounds.
