This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this lesson, I have reviewed the arrangements of the past tense. The first tense covered was the past simple. This dictates an action that has occurred in the past within a specific time. Followed by the past continuous which is used for an action that has happened in the past without a determined time, and may also be a continuing action. The past perfect tense is used to represent a situation or action that has happened before an already mentioned past action. Lastly the past perfect continuous is an uncommon combination of the two previously mentioned tenses; representing an action that has happened and will continue to happen until the other previously mention action within the sentence.
