In this unit, I learned that the teacher's attitude towards the class and students play a big part in the teaching. When the teacher is friendly and enthusiastic, the students are more likely to participate and throw out their ideas. It is also important to use gestures and pictures to explain instructions and examples because the students may not understand the vocabulary you are using, repeating it 100 times does not help them understand the meaning of the word. Knowing the names of all students makes sure that every student participates. Encourage the students to speak more, teachers wouldn't know if the students really understand the materials by just a simple \"Do you understand?\" \"Yes\".
