In this unit, I learned about the various methods for evaluating and testing students who are learning English. These include tutorials, tests, and evaluation by the students. Regarding tests, I learned about the different types of tests, their uses and when they are used in classes. For example, a placement test is used for a teacher to be able to understand a student's language ability. And from there is able to place them into a class based on the score of the placement test. As well as commonly well known and recognized external examinations that are available to test a student's English language ability. Some of them focus on the of English in a specific situation such as the BEC and BULATS.
