This lesson was about troubleshooting common problem situations. When teaching a first lesson for a class, it’s important to establish rapport amongst the students and between them and the teacher. Getting them loosened up and open to being involved will make everything much easier. The lesson goes into detail about how to do this using a variety of fun yet educational “Warmersâ€. Then the lesson details how to deal with the problems that arise due to different levels of students in the same class, large classes, use of native language, reluctant students, and difficulties with listening texts.
