Its hard to believe that is the same teacher. His tie was cooked in both but it didn't matter because he was smiling the second time. I really liked the idea of making name cards for each of the students. That enabled the teacher to call on the students quickly without struggling for their names. It kept the pace of the class flowing quickly. He also used a lot of hand gestures such as turning the paper over, the sizes and shapes of animals, and he wasn't afraid to be silly and get up on a chair and jump off. It was probably a good thing that he did not raise his foot over their heads as that would have been very rude in Thai culture. The lesson I learned was to teach at the point of understanding.
