I normally teach new groups of students, so it was interesting to read about existing groups who may have gone to school together their entire lives, but I imagine the college level would not allow for this opportunity. Thus, I already knew about making sure the first day of class is fun and a chance to learn about each other rather than focus on a grammar point right away. I am also used to large classes filled with different levels, so I am happy to see that I handle that situation well according to the lesson. I enjoyed reading about reluctant students because I always have a large amount of them and now I have some different ideas to try like role playing which may get them out of their shells.
