This unit reflects on the relationship between teachers and learners and the necessary balance required, in order to achieve the most efficient results. It was intriguing to realize the multitude of roles teachers must acquire and motivation factors for students of all age groups. The examples given on cultural barriers, as well as different approaches when teaching multi-cultural groups, were also very interesting, since such instances do apply in my teaching career. It was important for me to learn about the reaction of Asian students towards their teachers, as well as lack of creativity in their communication. I will therefore need to apply separate teaching methods to approach them effectively.
