There are many different ways to evaluate the students’ progress and levels. It can be tutorials, evaluation by students or tests. If you want to get to know the students’ level to place the student into the correct class, choose Placement Test. Progress Test is for teachers who want to check the students what they remembered or forgot after learning some language points or vocabulary. It should be done regularly – once a week or month. Diagnostic test is given at the start of the course to check their knowledge and to see what the students know or don’t know. Practice test – a practice test follows the format of whether external or formal exam the students are preparing for.
