This unit showed how the attitude of the teacher when it comes to teaching the lesson and conversing with his or her students affects the entire learning atmosphere of the class and even the interest of the students about learning. A good teacher that comes off as approachable and makes sure that his or her lesson is engaging and interesting will encourage the students to be more interested and therefore will better participate in class. The videos also emphasize the importance of acknowledging the efforts of the students to speak up in class whether the student made a mistake or not, because this will affect the atmosphere and will either promote more class participation or totally negate all of it.
