In this unit one learns that planning one's lessons is very important, especially for new teachers.
The record function of a lesson plan makes it a good tool to check what has been done by the students, particularly after some time, when it is not so fresh in memory. However, the plan must be flexible, because unexpected things happen and a teacher can't be without knowing what to do in class.
There are several items that should be on a lesson plan, but I find \"anticipated problems\" to be a very interesting and important one. I think it should be reviewed or updated, with what really transpired, to help in future planning.
Hence the accuracy and need for the self evaluation form, also on this unit.
